Pendulum Ink Wraps Up an Incredible August of Celebrity Lectures

The summer at Pendulum Ink has been nothing short of legendary. Starting July 30th and rolling through August, our virtual classroom came alive with the voices of artists who embody the power, grit, and creativity of hip hop. From battle-tested veterans to forward-thinking innovators, the lineup brought an unforgettable mix of storytelling, inspiration, and insider knowledge—all free to our community.

We opened the series with Copywrite, who set the tone with raw lyricism and lessons on legacy, resilience, and staying true to the craft. From there, RJ Payne dropped gems on discipline and the grind it takes to break through. Murda Mook followed, one of the most respected names in battle rap, sharing unfiltered stories and razor-sharp wisdom from the frontlines of the culture. Next up was Mikey Rocks of The Cool Kids, who broke down his journey of redefining retro rap while paving new sounds for the future. And to close out August, Rome Streetz took the mic, offering perspective on artistry, perseverance, and carving out your lane with authenticity.

But we’re not done yet.

This Wednesday, September 3rd at 8pm ET, we welcome Smoke DZA—Harlem’s own, known for his effortless flow, sharp storytelling, and ability to balance underground credibility with mainstream respect. Expect a session full of real talk, insider knowledge, and the kind of wisdom only a true original can deliver.

At Pendulum Ink, we believe hip hop is more than music—it’s education, empowerment, and evolution. August proved just that, and September promises to take it even further. Don’t miss what’s next.
